sound + art from portland, oregon
blanket was a collaborative installation + performance for PICA's time based art festival by danielle kelly and noelle stiles with original music + sound design by unrecognizable now. an array of tilt sensors and interactive electronics were designed and built by marcus fischer and were embedded into the sculptural elements of the installation. when these objects were agitated, the result would be a sound sample that could be heard in the exhibition space.
